ISLE of Wight travel has been affected by weather, as the Met Office extends today's yellow weather warning (Tuesday, November 15).
The Met Office has extended its weather warning for rain to Thursday (November 17).
Hovertravel services were cancelled this morning due to adverse weather conditions, but the cross-Solent travel provider has announced it will resume crossings this afternoon.
Services will resume from 1.15pm from Ryde and 1.30pm from Southsea.
Island Line services have also been cancelled due to flooding affecting the railway between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin.

Some of the Island’s roads have been flooded, including Harding Shute in Ryde, which remains closed for urgent flood repairs.

Island Roads has advised that roads in East Wight are particularly affected.
Beaper Shute between Ryde and Brading, Ryde Esplanade and Great Preston Road are passable but with additional care.
Red Funnel’s East Cowes-Southampton car ferry and Cowes-Southampton Red Jet services are running to timetable.
Wightlink’s Fast Cat, and Yarmouth and Fishbourne car ferries, are also running to timetable this morning.
